I’ve worked in the business to business marketing space for the last 10 years. The last 5 have been spent in London focused on developing my skills in digital and content marketing. Before going freelance my last role was EMEA Marketing Director for leading recruitment technology business Broadbean Technology based in Canary Wharf, London.
I’ve always been interested in learning about different approaches to marketing. This curiosity combined with working for a technology business is what led me to taking an interest in Growth Hacking. I’d worked for years implementing B2B marketing with a traditional approach. Long term strategic activity, multiple objectives, data that was very difficult to use as a basis for decision making. I took a growth hacking course, and though the discipline emerged from high growth tech businesses, it struck me there were a lot of concepts that could (and should) be used to support more traditional B2B businesses.
I currently live and work between the UK and Asia. In my spare time I scuba dive and I’m a keen amateur cook (in 2015 I was a contestant on UK Masterchef). I have a three legged fat cat called Clive, a four legged skinny cat called Princess and a big hairy dog called Finn.
